Product Description
Adjustable lead screws (also known as adjustable bases/top supports) are support devices installed at the bottom or top of scaffolding uprights, which achieve minor height adjustments through thread adjustment.
It is mainly divided into two categories:
Adjustable base: Installed at the bottom of the vertical pole, it is used to adjust the overall height and level of the scaffolding
Adjustable top support: Installed on the top of the vertical pole, it directly supports the formwork or the load-bearing crossbeam
Structural composition
A typical lead screw consists of the following parts:
Screw: A metal rod with external threads, commonly with diameters of 38mm or 48mm
Adjusting nut: With internal thread, used for rotating to adjust height
Base plate/support plate: The part that comes into contact with the ground or the supported object
Reinforcing ribs: Enhance structural strength and prevent deformation
Technical parameters
Adjustment range: Common specifications include 300mm, 500mm, 600mm, etc
Load-bearing capacity: A single piece is usually between 10 and 20kN
Material
Screw: Q235 steel or 45# steel
Nut: Malleable cast iron or steel plate stamping
The base plate is formed by stamping steel plates
